About DEREK POH:

I am a currently a Sophomore at Singapore Management University (SMU) majoring in economics and data science analytics.

With the marketing knowledge acquired from my diploma, together with the current knowledge from my majors, I believe that I will be able to contribute and adapt to an array of jobs. I am currently seeking for internship opportunities that will provide me with the environment to grow and strengthen my coding skills, mainly on R programming.

Experience

I was a marketing intern for Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks where i was exposed and managed various advertising and promotional related content, copywriting, and content creation.

 

Education

I decided to make the change from a marketing student in polytechnic to an Economics student in Singapore Management University as I wanted to broaden my knowledge. I am currently taking a few modules related to R programming, which is useful in the data science industry!
