Senior Process Engineer (Photolithography – Exposure)

• Evaluated and implemented new high graded stepper mask that are now used across the whole premium panel display for notebooks and drastically improved the yield by counter-measuring >90% stitching mura issue.
• Developed and implemented special measurement (metrology) stitching, overlay, line width recipe that fully optimize pattern high density layout accuracy and eliminates 5.55% stitching mura defect rate.
• Created special Automated Online Inspection (AOI) recipe / special offline visual inspection for hole layers to eliminate 11.1% point defects at final array test.
• Planned, supervised and coordinated daily activities of 5 Junior Engineers and 4 Associate Engineers.

Senior Integration Engineer (IQC)

• Major contributor and well endeavored four (4) successful Management Innovation awards as project leader using lean six sigma methodology with more than USD$1Million hard savings in reducing ESD related defects for the entire fab (Cell and Array process).
• Established Ionizer Control System, purchased 49 units of Ionizer Performance Analyzer, created work instruction, produced check sheets, periodical checking of ionizer and overall standard operation procedure with outstanding benefits of 1.37% (or USD$265.4K per year hard savings) reduction of ESD related defects since year 2008.
• Recognized as remarkable contributor in Baseline Improvement Yield, Elimination of Sudden Defects and Immediate Start-up of New Products with High Yield of more than 90%.
• Strategically drove the evaluation run for the best glass (substrates) shrinkages, profiling total pitch glass performance undergone high thermal condition before the realization of ultra-high resolution panels for smartphones mass production.

Appointed Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

• Acted as Deputy Quality Management Representative and led the company to re-acquired IS09001:2000 certification.
• Successfully introduced Manufacturing Inspectors and QC Inspectors joint-outgoing inspection resulting to Zero % defects escapees, increased in production output of 200% which led to three (3) months customer satisfaction Zero quality claims.
• Managed, planned and monitored the execution of Quality Assurance Team work assignments which consists of 2 Engineers, 5 Technicians and 20 Inspectors.
• Conducted supplier quality meeting and performed supplier audit for local and overseas.

Product Quality Assurance Engineer 2

• Involve in initial Hard Disk Drive (HDD) production, Evaluation of New Product model, parts, machine etc. and confirmation for mass production. First Customers Shipment (FCS).
• Conducts investigation, proposes countermeasure and verification of countermeasures applied to root cause of worst errors.
• Perform failure analysis and diagnosis for Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) from Field Return Drives.
• Studied HDD Principles of Operation, Power on Sequence, Self-Calibration and Servo Control in Yamagata Fujitsu Ltd., Japan.
