After graduating from Medical School, I started my career as UNICEF Indonesia's Assistant Programme Officer in Papua Field Office. My work consisted of developing and managing HIV and AIDS prevention programmes for children - cooperating with related local governments as our counterparts. Then, I had the chance to practice medicine as a General Practitioner for a community in a very remote area (islands-red) in Nabire Papua. Cases found were TB, Leprosy, and Stunting. After finishing my term, I started my quest in research - ranging from medical research to health policy.
