Experience
As a parent of a child with special needs, I have a vested interest in building an inclusive society for the differently abled across all life-stages.
I am currently serving as a Digital Ambassador Lead under the SG Digital Program (IMDA), having been promoted in September 2021 from a Digital Ambassador role.
Prior to my current appointment, I was the Administrative Manager at Rainbow Centre, an operational and strategic role in the school. The role requires resilience and strong problem solving skills, interacting with children diagnosed with autism or multiple disabilities. I work with the entire support community namely the parents, caregivers, vendors, partners, school management, teachers and support staff on a daily basis. I have demonstrated strongly that I am versatile and adaptable to changing circumstances by taking on various new roles and positions whenever the job requires.
And prior to that, I was a real estate professional in both the private and public sector for more than 20 years. During my career as a real estate analyst, developing proposals, collating data, performing trend analysis, addressing gaps and finding opportunities for clients, formulating reports and presenting the findings to clients (via reports and presentations). As I rose through the ranks to head the Research & Consultancy department, I was also involved in the strategic planning, budgeting, operational management of the team as well as marketing the services provided by the company.
Throughout my career, my bosses have noted that I am a team player, keen to learn, has initiative, is diligent, meticulous, responsible and competent in my work.
