Back in 2020, during the pandemic period, I happened to chance upon a classified IOT project by the government. As Singapore doesn’t have much natural resources, we could only rely on imports from our neighbouring countries. Since most of the borders around the world are closed to prevent further widespread of pandemic, Malaysia vehicles carrying imports into Singapore are heavily tracked by leveraging on the GPS functions in the smartphone. Thereafter, I was being brought onto another assignment by IMDA. To facilitate the exposure of coding and computational thinking in our young generation, they collaborated with MOE to come out with a “Code for Fun Enrichment Programme”. 

With these series of events, it intrigued my interest to look further into the technology field and of course, I have been enjoying myself in the field thus far. One of the special skills I have master will be doing testings for our products and software. In order to ensure that our deliverables are functioning as according to the scope and free of bugs and errors. It will take days and great amount of patience to test the different permutations of scenarios. 

Another special skillset that I have achieved will be the high adaptability to different systems. With a variety of IOT projects coming in and of different requirements, I really do need the skill to adapt to different systems or applications in no time.

Professional Services

• Managed large-scale IOT track-and-trace operations with a contract value close to $13 million; involving more than 100 people, to support essential supply chain agenda at a national level.

• Project Management Function overseeing 2 IOT projects with a combined value of approximate half a million.

• Sub-Product Owner of an in-house Enterprise Resource Planning System worth $40,000. Upon completion, cost saving for organisation stood at $20,000 per year.

• Appointed as management represensative in attaining ISO 27001 Certification as well as IMDA’s Data Protection Trust mark and CSA’s Cyber Trust mark.

Held a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering and a certified associate in project management with PMI institute.
