About Farzana Shariq:

A nurse by profession largely in the children emergency field. Have groomed the passion and interest in the nursing education and training sector as well as in the process improvement area. 

Experience

I have 7 years experience within the children emergency field. I have conducted many teaching, audit, preceptoring and training over the past years within the department. Additionally, I have initiated a drug training programme to improve the skills of nurses in drug preparation in the emergency setting. I have represented my team in presenting in conferences on projects such as the RSI drug training programme, pain relief project, MDI administration process improvement and caregiver improvement process. 

Education

I have recently graduated with a Masters in clinical leadership from the Curtin University of Singapore 2022. Additionally, I have earned the advanced diploma in nursing (emergency medicine) from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2021. I have graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Nursing in 2016.
