Firdhaus Maarof

A visual creator & aspiring educator who uses multimedia platforms as tools of communication. Working with people from various backgrounds, allows me to constantly produce innovative and intriguing solutions that are relevant, personifiable & coherent for audiences from all walks of life. My hope is to provide a space of learning to equip young minds with skills & values.

1. Gymnastics Coach @ MyGym Singapore (October 2022 - Present). Lead gymnastics lessons to a diverse age range of children from infant to primary school ages, including children with special needs i.e. ADHD. Utilized the usage of physical fitness, music and dance to foster healthy development and growth for children. Documented and relayed progress of children to their respective parents as well as assisted with the gym in sales and promotion of class packages. 
2. CCA Instructor @ Whizz Kidz (October 2022 - Present). Instruct one-on-one CCA programs for Primary school aged children in International Schools. Facilitated programs across various mediums such as Clay Modelling, Lego Robotics and Science Experiments to promote hands-on and immersive learning experiences. 
3. Brand Marketing Executive @ Valour Pets Global (July 2021 - Jan 2022). From July of 2021 to January 2022, I underwent a traineeship program with Valour Pets Global in which my responsibilities were to provide conceptualize and provide photographic and video materials for the rebrand and relaunch efforts of one of their premium brands - NUTRIPE.
4. Social Media Intern @ Singapore Police Force (September 2017 - Feb 2018). I was attached to the Social Media Team within the Public Affairs Department. Primarily, my duties were to conceptualize, create and schedule content for SPF's social media. Apart from that, I was taught to observe and analyse social media outreach measurements. 
5. Primary Filmer @ The Hoffen Collective (Jan 2017 - Dec 2018). I was part of a small media collective known as The Hoffen Collective. We provided freelance photography and videography services to the public and my role was the main filmer of the crew. Apart from filming most of the visual content, I also took part in video planning, content conceptualizing and providing inputs to the video editing process.
6. Freelance Photographer @ Honeymilk Photos (Jan 2017 - May 2021). From the year 2017, I have been providing freelance photography services to the public under the moniker - HoneyMilk. As I am handling this service by myself, I am involved in all aspects of the service itself, from client-seeking, marketing of my services up to the final phases the shoot and dissemination of the final product to the client.
