Gerald William Pereira

I graduated with 3 G.C.E O Levels and was previously employed with the Republic of Singapore Navy for more than 4 decades. My primary responsibilities involved procurement of equipment, spares and services. I am familiar with procurement activities, and I am competent using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software. I am also familiar with event management, sourcing and engaging logistics and services support to manage official events and ceremonies. I have excellent customer relation skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and am fluent in oral and written English Language. I possess strong analytical and administrative management skills and am able to work independently and also work well with other members of a team.

I was previously employed with the Republic of Singapore Navy for more than 4 decades. My primary expertise is in procurement, services and logistics activities. I had the opportunity to work on the Naval ships for more than 10 years and have had experience sourcing and managing logistics support when the ships sailed to other countries. After completing my appointment on the ship, I was deployed to a land-based department where I have had more than 25 years of experience in procurement activities, supporting the ships for spares and services. I am familiar with financial accounting, procurement procedures, office administrative processes and with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel programs. I am resourceful and able to work independently and with teams. I am competent in oral and written English Language and can communicate effectively. I have good analytical skills and am able to assess situations and effect required actions accordingly. I have had experience managing official events and ceremonies and co-ordinating visits by official attendees. 

I graduated with 3 G.C.E. O Levels. I have attended relevant courses in soft skills and hard skills. I have managed teams in my previous employment for daily and project management. I am disciplined, having served in a military organization, and have had working experience being deployed for more than 2 years in an overseas department.
