Glenn Wey Goh

I am a driven individual and I am currently taking a double major in Biomedical Science and Biobusinesss in NTU. 

Apart from studies, I enjoy taking up different leadership roles. For instance, I am currently the vice captain of the NTU Canoe Sprint Team for the academic year 2023 to 2024. Furthermore, I have taken up several Group Leader positions during the 2022 and 2023 faculty and hall freshmen orientations. Lastly, I was a Basic Military Training Platoon Commander from December 2019 till November 2020.

Furthermore, I place great importance on giving back to the community. From 2016 to 2018, I have been actively volunteering at Ms Tin Pei Ling’s Meet-The-People session. In addition, I volunteer at other places such as the Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA) in 2016 and at the Homless Hearts Of Singapore (HHOS) from mid 2020 till now.

I worked as a tuition teacher from May 2023 to July 2023, where I prepared and taught primary and secondary school students English, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology topics.

I was an assistant care coordinator in NUHS from January 2021 to March 2021, where I assisted in the Regional Health System Department in the implementation of the My Health Map programme.

I was a Dengue Prevention Outreach Officer, where I worked as a team to educate residents of high-risk communities about the dangers and spread of Dengue, handing out approximately 300 dengue flyers and mosquito repellents daily.

Lastly, I was a Basic Military Training Platoon Commander, where I led and trained 3 batched of platoons, comprising 64 recruits each.

I am currently in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, pursuing a Bachelor of Sciences in Biomedical Sciences and Biobusiness. I am awarded with the Nanyang Scholarship and my current cumulative GPA is 4.48/5.00.
