About Haixiong Jiang:

By nature an introvert. This allows me to observe and pay more attention to others. It helped me achieve my sales and service targets as a personal trainer. I was also able to bring this over to Ministry of Foreign Affairs during my interaction with different stake holders and the public.

  • Assistant Protocol Executive <November 2020 - May 2021>

        Plan and execute outgoing visits for Senior Political Officer holder. Assist in incoming visits of foreign senior ranking officials.

       Plan and execute official meals for senior officials.

      

  • Attache (Admin & Consular) at Singapore Consulate-General in Guangzhou 

<October 2017 - November 2020>

    Ensure smooth daily operations of the Consulate (i.e Public enquiries / complaints, Human Resources, Finance, IT, Security). Review work flow and implement updated processes within the Consulate. 

    Supervision of locally recruited staff within the Consulate.

    Provide Consular assistance to distressed Singaporeans.

    Career highlight includes emergency evacuation planning for 2019 Hong Kong protests and Consular assistance during the initial outbreak of COVID-19 in China. 

    Provide timely consular services to distressed Singaporeans (i.e incarceration, hospitalisation, death cases).

 

  • Assistant Travel Planner <May 2013 - October 2017>

      Plan outgoing visits for Non-Resident Ambassadors and High Commissioners to their country of accreditation. 

       Work with in-house travel agent to oversee MFA officer’s overseas travels. 

       Administrator for the immunisation requirements of MFA officers.
