Harith Suri

I studied and graduated with a Diploma in Architecture at Singapore Polytechnic, where I was equipped with the technical skills to handle various software programs and the soft skills to organize, adapt to situations, and engage in critical thinking wherever necessary.

With this background, it allowed me to pick up the editing skills using programs such as Premiere Pro to Davinci Resolve, and from Photoshop to Lightroom Classic with much ease (of course with the help of online teachers, YouTube, and Google) and apply them to the videos and stills that I have produced to this day.

The idea of preserving memories through photography and videography has always fascinated me. Initially, memories are captured with my own memory, but eventually, I tend to forget certain memories unless they are impactful enough to stay there. Eventually, I decided that a DSLR camera might do that job well in hand with my picture memory. Hence, the passion for self-studying videography and photography began.

Architecture Internship, Building & Research Institute (BRI), Housing & Development Board (HDB)

Researched & designed a schematic layout & basic-design around Urban Farming using HDB Multi- Storey Carparks. Additionally, worked on Punggol Northshore District and Northshore Plaza during its construction phase, on-site as well as remotely, with my team.

Specialist, Security Team, Ops Bacinet (OPs B), Jurong Island

Deployed to protect & secure the key infrastructures on Jurong Island. Additionally, volunteered as part of a 3-man production team to produce an introductory film-like video. This video would help future batches quickly familiarise themselves with the know-hows and workarounds required to carry out their specific duties effectively during their time on the island.

Our efforts were recognised, and we received accolades in the form of a Commander's Coin and Recognition Certificate of our service. At the same time receiving recognitions by the Division and Unit Commanders as well as the Unit HQ Media Team.​
