Personal                       

• I ‘m 57 years of age, married with two sons. I love cycling and at times playing soccer.
• Start sea carrier as a Probation Sailor and now holding a Class 2 Foreign Going Deck Officer Certificate. Years of working at sea under harsh, intense environment with taboo tasks had made me an independent, self-reliance, motivated, hard working and wiser. Always strive and believe in doing better. Accepting other opinions also helps me to develop a positive working attitude with good interpersonal skill when liaising with people from different ethnic background and nationalities especially when working as a team.

• Be ready at all times to assume full command of the ship if necessitated by an emergency.

• Acting Chief Officer, I was assigned by Master to check the integrity of all Ballast Tanks, LSA & FFA Equipment and Deck Machineries prior to Class Survey and to attend to Surveyor during the Class Surveyed. (Basically, of all Chief Officer’s job scope.)
