Hetavi Mandaliya

I am currently pursuing Cache Level 3 and have been working as a teacher in one of the leading nurseries in the Middle East. I am a passionate educator with a background in Fine Arts. Currently moved to Singapore I am looking for a position as a preschool teacher in a school or a Nursery setting. 

Primary responsibilities as a teacher included ensuring children have an established routine to help them get accustomed to daycare and nursery settings. As an Educator, I was working closely with parents and established the daily routine of the child so they have no issues settling in the nursery settings. Providing daily logs to the parent about the child's nutrition, health, and development. Working one-on-one activities that would help children work on their physical development and speech and language development. Having parent-teacher meetings about the child's progress and communicating the child needs to the parents if needed.

Being flexible and playing the role of a team player was essential in this field of work and often times working in partnership with parents, principals, other teachers and teachers' assistants was key for a better work environment and required for the development of the children in our care.
