Jamie Chue

I am currently an undergraduate at Singapore Univeristy of Social Sciences pursuing a major in Public Safety and Security and a minor in Criminology. I am willing to learn and am both self-disciplined and committed to whatever I put my mind to. I want to not just be able to help others with my newfound knowledge and skills, but also contribute positively to the future of society. 

I worked at the Museum of Ice Cream as a Guest Experience Specialist. Some of my responsibilities included:

• Collaborated closely with colleagues to brainstorm innovative ideas to attract customers and increase exposure, resulting in increased foot traffic and sales.
• Recognized a gap in our offerings and spearheaded a successful night event, resulting in increased sales and positive feedback from adult visitors who previously viewed the museum as “too childish”.
• Prioritized exceptional customer service to ensure both adults and children feel valued and eager to return, resulting in consistently high ratings and repeat business.

My current study focuses on terrror attacks, cybercrime and other kinds of criminal activities. By understanding the motivations behind such attacks such as political motivations, it helps us to better understand how to prepare and avoid such situations. As such, better policies ad safeguards can be put in place, ensuring the public safety and security of our society.
