Jon Lee

As a young graduate in mechanical engineering, I have a passion for designing and implementing complex mechanical systems for a range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, construction and manufacturing. 

My technical competency includes proficiency in CAD software, data analysis, and other engineering tools, as well as a deep understanding of materials science and thermodynamics. In addition to my technical skills, I have been acknowledged for being a communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. • Engaged in the monitoring and improvement of plasma / dry etch processes for semiconductor manufacturing in advanced technology development department.
• Conducted daily data mining and analysis to ensure optimal performance of the manufacturing line and meet daily wafer processing targets. Troubleshot process deviations and introduced corrective and preventive actions. 
• Collaborated with multiple stakeholders including production, process integration, and equipment teams to optimize quality and yield. 
• Identified gaps and implemented enhancements to existing process methods. Successfully executed new tool installation and qualification (TIQ) project for LAM Research's dry etch equipment and released 10 new tools into production.

• Studied various types of mechanical systems in building design to ensure human comfort and compliance with building’s safety regulations. 
• Involved in air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV), cold water and sanitary plumbing (CWSP) system in commercial, residential and hospital buildings based on acts and standards applied.
• Conducted heat load analysis to determine the effective cooling coil capacity in 5 different conditions and determined the optimum condition for clients.
• Designed cold water pipework, performed pipe routing and pipe sizing calculation for high-rise residential project. Performed pump sizing calculation, residual pressure calculation in piping and determined minimum pressure required for each floor including major and minor losses in pipes.
• Prepared drawings and documents for tender. Reviewed and analysed tender’s pricing.
