NUS Final Year Project: Smart Shelving System using OCC (Team of 3 Members)                      Jan 2022 – Nov 2022

• Appointed to develop Android Application for mobile receiver for Optical Camera Communication (OCC) system
• Expected to utilize Android Studio in Java with OpenCV library to perform image processing on camera frames
• Develop algorithm to decode visual light signals through thresholding and Manchester decoding.
• Collaborating with teammate to design and develop an interactive GUI to enable users to query a database to check status of their item
• Deploy an app that can successfully localize, decode the blinking LED tag, and show user item location on a live camera view 

NUS-EE Module: Renewable Generation and Smart Grid                                                                   Feb 2022 – Apr 2021

Module Project: Propose a design of a Seaport Microgrid for Denmark (Team of 5 members)

• Utilised HOMER grid software to perform simulations and economic analysis based on demand patterns, energy consumption, carbon emissions etc
• Investigated various smart grid technologies/applications such renewable-based distributed generation, storage, demand-side management to assess feasibility
• Concluded that wind turbine system combined with storage was the optimal choice for the location

NUS-EE Module:  Microcontroller Programming and Interfacing                                                     Sep 2020 – Nov 2020

Module Project: Enhanced covid-19 patient monitoring system                                   

• Utilized the STM32L475VG microcontroller (C programming) and its various sensors to detect various health parameters of patients and communicate abnormalities to healthcare workers
• Configured externals interrupts, systick timer/handler and UART interface to achieve objectives

SP Final Year Project: Sentry: The Smart Bike Alarm (Team of 3 Members)                                  Aug 2016 – Mar 2017

• Successfully designed and deployed Smart Bicycle Alarm with Android smartphone application utilizing LinkitOne microcontroller via Arduino IDE and Android Studio
• Project was selected to represent SP at CETI Asia challenge 2016
• Project was featured in 3 local newspaper publications as well as on Local TV Channel (i.e., CNA)

Part time Appliance service (Self-developed Carousell based Business)                                      Aug 2015 – Present

• Conceptualized business to provide fan repair services on e-commerce platforms to reduce e-waste.
• Acquired technical skills based on best practices (e.g., PCB Soldering, Troubleshooting, Wire Routing)
• Assumed customer-focused approach by handling all interactions and after sale services to ensure quality of service provided to exceed customer’s expectation.
