With almost (8) years of working experience as Piping Engineer from a global engineering company that specializes in engineering design from FEED and Basic Engineering up to Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) and other related works dealing from upstream, midstream and downstream facilities. Excellent piping design and drafting background in the field of Oil & Gas industry specifically Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Petrochemical, Refinery, Modular Packages and Steam Power Generation.

Computer Skills:

• Conversant with 3D piping design software such as Plant Design System (PDS), Plant Design Management System (PDMS), Smart Plant 3D (SP3D) , Aveva E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D and CADworx.
• Proficient in 2D drafting tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD and 3D Model Viewer such as Navisworks Freedom and Simulate.  
• Experienced in using AutoPipe and Caesar II for piping stress analysis. 
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and Outlook. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and study of piping design code, project technical specifications, piping standard drawings, engineering procedures and project documents at the beginning of the project. 
• Ensures that all work such as piping layout and information, 3D model, MTO, BQ and other deliverables of the project for compliance to project standards or specifications, applicable codes, contract requirements, quality standards and accepted engineering and construction practices.
• Works Independently to perform assigned task and develops solution to technical/engineering and related problems by analyzing the issue or data, interpreting the analysis, and evaluating various options/measures using experience, precedents, and professional references with minimal or no supervision or guidance.
• Carry out the concept design, FEED Design, FEED Verification or detail design on Piping Discipline.
• Preparation of key project documentation in executing the complete piping engineering scope of work as per project requirements in meeting client’s expectations.
• Preparation of project requirement specification such as pipe material specification, line list, piping deliverables (Isometrics, Piping MTO, Piping GA’s, Project Deliverable List & Status, Stress Isometrics, Pipe Support Standards, Special Pipe Support Drawing, Loading Data) as per project requirements.
• Review, Analyze and Mechanize of Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID).
• Perform 3D modeling of equipment, structures and piping layout using 3D software requirement by the client based on preliminary equipment datasheet, structural drawings (plan and elevation) pipe route layout. 
• Monitors the progress on piping engineering project, piping deliverables stress packages, vendor drawings. Ensuring that deliverables complied within project standards/specifications and report to Lead Piping Engineer about the weekly progress report to know if deliverables are within schedule.
• Perform Analysis of Model using Navisworks Freedom and Simulate Navigation.
• Involve in quantification of pipe line number in P&ID, technical specification and piping MTO in standardizing with material code
• Preparation of critical line packages for initial calculation or re-calculation for submission to stress group for flex calculation.
• Interpretation and analysis of results of Flexural computation for Displacement, Restraints and FEA Analysis Summary Reports from Stress Packages.
• Review Piping material specifications, standards, piping material classes, generate the UFD/PFD/PIDs and related technical reports.
• Participates and Coordinate with inter-discipline teams, consultants, subcontractors and client to discuss on engineering clarification, technical queries, design solutions and project status in order to meet project deadlines and submissions. 
• Executions of Consistency checking against P&ID, Line List, Instrument Data Sheet, Vendor Drawings, 3D Model and Loading Data.
• Involvement in closeout actions from design review and safety study workshops from 30%, 60% and 90% 3D Model Review, material handling review, HAZID/HAZOP, regulatory compliance workshop, etc
• Dispatched to CHIYODA Japan (Headquarter) to present 3D model review to client, contractors, sub-con and teams involved in the project.
• Ensure that piping deliverables complied within project standards/specifications and report to Lead Piping Engineer about the weekly progress report to know if deliverables are within schedule. 
• Responsible on all Piping deliverables such as Plot plan, Isometric drawings, Piping General Arrangement Drawings, Material MTO, Tie-in List, Line List, Information drawings (SPS Drawings, Platform and Equipment Drawings)
• Identifies and records lessons and learned throughout the entire project and to carry out these to the succeeding projects for reference.
• Shares the knowledge with the team members and conduct Technical bulletin discussion among engineers and designers to carry out assigned task with compliance to clients standards.
• Checks, Verifies and ensures that all piping supports are constructed as per isometric drawings and detail drawings when assigned to construction site.
