Position: Senior Project Quality Engineer

Duties and Description of Job: I am in charge Asia Pacific projects quality management and have four quality engineers report to me. Main duties are technical review for project tender and generation of ITP (inspection and test plan) as per project quality requirement and PO requisition. Review and obtain an approval for all quality and / or test procedures (welding procedures, hydrostatic test procedure, PMI test procedure, Coating procedure, Hardness test procedure and so on) prior submission to client. Implementation various test as per approved ITPs, test procedures and project requirement. Chairing PIM (pre inspection meeting) meeting with customer and vendor. Handling customer inspection / third party inspection at various plants and each of fabrication stage till packing and shipment stage per ITP. review and close NCR (nonconformance report) and punch list with customer and various stake holders. Generate and obtaining approval for TD (technical deviation) during project execution. Review documents and guide DC (document controller) to make compilation of MDR (manufacturing data book). Communication with customer / Client for inquires and obtain IRN (inspection release note) and make sure delivery with quality product within time frame per project requirement.

Position: Mechanical Engineer

Duties and Description of Job: Lead the team to design the hydraulic system according to customer contract, supervise the working team progress and troubleshooting for field serves. mechanical commissioning the hydraulic system and bending machines on the client side to ensure  the hydraulic system and bending machine can be worked smoothly as required in customer side as per contract. Lead mobile crane checking and repair or replacement of hydraulic system if needed to ensure the crane is workable. 

Duties include – review the contract technical requirement, design the hydraulic products according to contract, keep the design progress on the schedule to meet customer time and cost constrain, send design drawings for customer approval, help team solve the technical issues, train the new engineer, change manual drawing to computerized design to improve productivity and maintain goodwill from customers. Solve the manufacturing problems due to material changes or dimensional discrepancy with original design, new prototype design and testing, lead the team visit customer side to do mechanical commissioning service for new sale bending machine and hydraulic system and trouble shooting for old one, work with other department for quality improvement help company reduce manufacturing cost, select right suppliers based on vendor’s competence and quality record.
