About Kalisha Hippy:
Hi! I am a 29 year old with the biggest passion for fashion. Aside from that, I have also realized the importance of Visual Display not just for visual purposes but also to boost the sales of the company. My experience overseeing 11 Gucci stores across Singapore and Malaysia while leading a team of 7 In-Store VMs has taught me a lot of important skills that I would bring to my next company.
Experience
I started as a pop up designer and planner which sparked my interest in Visual Display. I decided to explore the VM world with Forever 21 which brought me so much joy. Unfortunately, the company was closing down which is why I joined MANGO next. Mango allowed me to fully explore my creativity and also the commercial side of things but since I have been with mass retail brand I decided to give Gucci a try. Much to my surprise, I was promoted to Country Visual Merchandiser within the first year.
Education
I studied Space & Interior Design which was has been relevant in my work throughout the past 9 years. It taught me space planning and human flow which was very helpful.
