I am a Sophomore at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) studying Double Degree in Business (Business Analytics) and Computer Science. I am writing to apply for the position of a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2023. I am about to complete my second year in NTU and am looking to further my skillsets and gain experience. I am a keen learner and am willing to learn the ropes. This company has exceptional appeal for me because of its reputation and capabilities in solving problems. I believe the experience gained here would be beneficial to any person.

I have a strong interest for programming and logical thinking. My time in University has introduced me to several programming languages such as Python, C, R and Java, as well as database languages such as SQL and noSQL. I took the liberty to self-learn Front-end Development languages. My course allows me to undertake both sides of the spectrum consisting of programming as well as presentation and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, I cherish every opportunity to learn and am flexible to fit into any department. My personal goal is always to learn from every experience that I have as well as value add to any organisation and team that I am in.

I am inspired by this company’s tireless commitment in providing viable solutions and value adding to the customers. I believe that working as a Software Engineer in your organisation will allow me to apply my knowledge learnt throughout my schooling life and learn from the inner workings of this organisation.
