Kayshini Thamilselvan

I’m a firm believer in the power of words, as seen through my journey as a freelance copywriter.  As a current final year undergraduate of Sociology at NTU, I find inspiration in a variety of topics, from architecture to racism. Ultimately, I aim to use my writing to inspire others. My work is focused on producing quality results and making a significant impact. I’m always happy to apply the experience and skills I’ve obtained throughout my life and career to an interesting project or task. 

From May to August 2022, I had been an intern at Jonite, a hardscaping company, where I wrote blog posts and created SEO-friendly website and Instagram captions. I was also in charge of managing their Facebook Ads. I also have been a freelance copywriter for Smartsites for the past 10 months, where I create SEO-friendly blog posts for U.S. based companies like One Stop Bride Shop, Discovery Village Senior Living, Squishy faces, and more. In addition to that, I have 4 months of experience working as a content editor at Nyoibo Studios, where I edit and proofread web novels that have been translated from Mandarin to English.

Im currently a final year undergraduate at NTU pursuing a bachelors (honours) degree in Sociology. I have previously completed my O and Alevels in Cedar Girls Secondary School and Anderson Junior College (now ASRJC) respectively.
