I am a final year student pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. I have experience in Auditing and Compliance, however, I am keen to explore my options to pursue other career pathways.

Dec 2021 – May 2022

• Appointed as the Auditor-In-Charge for the audit engagements of five international companies:
o Directly communicated with various clients on a regular basis to confirm client’s business procedures, understand segregation of duties and confirm details on management’s financial statements
o Performed test of controls, test of details, substantive procedures, and sampling by checking invoices against other supporting documents in line with Singapore Standards of Auditing (SSA) requirements

Performed Client Acceptance and Client Continuance and KYC measures for a European natural gas firm:
o Performed background checks on clients and their firms by using KYC platforms such as Customer

Relationship Management (CRM) tools, GRT and World Check
o In-charge of handling and processing and analysing sensitive client documentation and information such as identification cards, visas, passport details and various other legal documents

Coordinated and performed two independent stock-takes for companies operating in the F&B sector

Led the team’s transition into using the new proprietary e-Financial Statement (eFS) software by learning and teaching other full-time associates on how to incorporate the eFS software into daily work processes to automate routine and manual tasks

Followed through with clients’ regulatory obligations and operational performance to keep in alignment with statutory requirements under the Companies Act
