My attention was immediately drawn when I chanced upon the opportunity for the Life Pricing Intern role offered by SCOR Singapore and that they were looking for like-minded individuals to be part of the team. I am currently studying Finance and Economics at The University of Melbourne in my final year of studies, whilst looking to gain accreditation towards becoming a fully qualified actuary through my actuarial examinations. During these studies, I firmly believe that students are readied to become valuable assets to the finance, economics, and even insurance industries in the near future. I worked as a market research assistant a couple of months back at Whereto Research Consultancy for a few months and I have worked with Excel quite frequently due to the amount of data that needs to be visualised for our clients on Powerpoint as well.
