Experienced in handling Package Equipment’s (Mechanical & Electrical) and their interface management (Serial and hardwire) with Automation/Control System.
Experienced in handling design team to develop Layouts, Hookups, Installation details, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, Bulk MTO, PDMS Model etc.
Experienced in cross functional design reviews such as P&ID reviews, Process design review, HAZID, HAZOP, Constructability, Alarm rationalization workshop, PDMS model review, Ergonomic Study etc.
Participation/Contribution to CHAZOP, SIL classification workshop and SIL verification in accordance with the requirements of IEC 61511 / 61508 Functional Safety Codes and Standards.
Ability to independently interface and coordinate with IVB (Independent Verification body) like ABS during the engineering, design and certification phase of the project.
Participate/perform FAT and SAT for various instrumentation like DCS, SIS, FGS, Hydraulic power units/WHPU, HIPPS, Metering Systems, Field instruments, valves at Vendor works and at site. Participate FAT and SAT of various package equipment’s such as Generator, Compressor, HVAC system, EDG, Fire water pumps, N2 Generator, etc. at Vendor works and at site. Review and approval of Construction Work Packs.
Support onshore and offshore commissioning of instrumentation and automation system of packages like Fire water pump, Deluge Systems, Emergency power generators, Air compressor package, Nitrogen Package, HVAC package, NFPA certified loading computer, tank gauging system, Gas compressor package, Power generation package etc.
Strong Knowledge of International standards AS /ASME/ANSI/API/IEC/ISO/NACE, Shell DEP, DEM1, ARAMCO- SAMSS, SAES, SADP Standards, BP’s Global Practices, EIL standards, engineering practices and procedures interpretation and application backed by sound engineering practices.
Ability to handle and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Multitasking skill and ability. Mentoring and training; Company trainees, colleagues, juniors and graduate engineers and designers.
