Marcus Mohammad
Non-profit / Volunteering
Services offered
I am committed and focused on any endeavors that I embark on. I believe in giving my best in every task and investing in positive personal growth to continually improve.
As an individual, I believe in a society that strives for equality and empathy. My purpose is to empower those who are marginalized in society.
I am someone who handles stress well, is highly adaptable, and thinks quickly on my feet, which makes me an effective employee in a fast-paced environment that requires me to be flexible and quick with problem-solving. I am also a communicative team player who takes initiative to improve work processes and create a positive working environment.
Experience
I have 15 years of experience in F&B, where I have gathered extensive experience working in high-pressure environments while delivering quality services. My strong communication skills and quality customer service allowed me to thrive in the industry.
However, I am now pivoting towards counselling as a mid-career change where I can apply my skills towards making a purposeful and positive change in people's lives. For the last 3 years, I have endeavoured to pursue my studies in counselling psychology and actively volunteering in National Addiction Management Service, Singapore, After Care Association, and Agent of Change, helping ex-offenders and their families.
Education
In 2024, I obtained a post-graduate diploma in Counselling Psychology.
