Driven by a lifelong passion for tennis, Matthieu Bonnafous, founder of B. Tennis, spent 39 years playing tennis and 20 years coaching over 2500 players. Tennis has taken him from France, his home country, to Tunisia, Lebanon, New Zealand and Singapore. Over the years, he had gained valuable experience from teaching to organising events and developing tennis policies for clubs and academies. This had led to the creation of B. Tennis. The academy offers a range of programmes which can meet the needs and expectations of players of all ages and abilities – from first timers to returners and performance players. The improvement of students is its number one priority. Its programmes place emphasis on basic technical skills, physical intensity, cooperation and fun. 

To support its continued growth, B. Tennis is seeking for a professional and experienced coach to join its team in Singapore.

Experience

Matthieu Bonnafous is a passionate and experienced international tennis coach with more than 23,000 hours of teaching experience, full time, since 2001.

He has initiated a high number of first timers from all ages and trained several hundreds of beginners into proper tennis players. He has experience preparing players for competition and has formed many national players. His main specialisation is on developing and running a family based program for both leisure and competitive players, children and adults.

Based in Singapore since 2014, he has launched various programmes including weekly group classes, competency exams for kids, intensive holiday camps, friendly tournaments and a tennis initiation at the French School of Singapore.

He holds a professional French Tennis Coach State Degree, which is recognized as the highest tennis certification in the world and has a Master Degree in Earth Sciences.

Matthieu is an active member of the Singapore National Registry of Coaches (N.R.O.C.). He holds all related national qualifications and a valid First Aid Certification
