Sustainability Communications Intern | NIO Inc.   

• Initiated and fostered collaboration with the Giant Panda National Park to advance conservation efforts in regions of paramount conservation and cultural significance. Gathered and assessed data across multiple nature reserves and neighbouring communities.

• Implemented the NIO Clean Parks project, comprising the creation and translation of the project pitch presentation and campaign phase promotional materials. Executed 3 collaborative project promotion campaigns during the internship period.

• Coordinated a signing ceremony with WWF and 3 expert lectures by communicating with external partners and collaborating with internal teams.

Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) Intern | Ernst & Young (China) Advisory Limited 

• Completed an ESG consulting project for an international food company, assisting the manager in identifying climate change risks under the TCFD framework, determining gaps against overseas peer companies by analysing CDP score reports, and developing comprehensive presentation slides.

• Produced the ESG report for a medical company. Authored key sections by gathering industry research and news from various sources, analysing the company's annual report, and extracting key information to support the report's preparation.

• Played a pivotal role in ESG reporting for the Association of International Chemical Manufacturers, organizing client interviews, and designing questionnaires and outlines. Conducted 4 interviews with association member companies, and summarised English notes for report compilation.

ESG Researcher Intern | Evalueserve Business Consulting 

 • Aggregated and evaluated quantitative and qualitative data from ESG reports and annual reports to assess the ESG performance of listed companies. Completed the evaluation of the ESG performance of 50 CSI 300 companies during the internship period.

• Carried out the construction and testing of an ESG controversy scoring framework by collecting negative news from companies, identifying ESG-related controversies, and performance scoring. Tested the framework on 50 companies, providing suggestions for improvement.

• Maintained a keen focus on ESG-related news, both domestic and international, by collecting ESG news and carbon trading data weekly during the five-month internship. Shared insights and information through company social media channels.
