Hello, I am Min Hui, a recent graduate from Singapore Management University, specializing in Business Management with majors in operations and sustainability. Having worked in the logistics as well as the hospitality and tourism sectors, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in optimizing operational efficiency and working collaboratively with a diverse team. I have had the opportunity to gain valuable professional experiences in different industries, including supply chain management and roles in the hospitality and tourism sectors. These experiences have equipped me with a diverse skill set and a strong drive to optimize processes and contribute to team success.

During my time as a maintenance operations intern at Schneider Electric, I played a crucial role in optimizing machinery and maintenance schedules. I led a machinery optimization project, utilizing an external system in combination with Excel spreadsheets to analyze data, identify patterns, and provide insights for improvements. This project allowed us to streamline processes, determine suitable frequencies for maintenance schedules, and set up automated tasks, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency.

In the hospitality and tourism industry, I worked as a guest service executive, room attendant, and housekeeping supervisor. These roles honed my customer service skills and taught me the importance of attention to detail and effective communication. As a guest service executive, I efficiently managed guest inquiries, facilitated smooth check-ins and check-outs, and ensured a delightful guest experience.

Throughout my experiences, I have actively embraced teamwork and collaboration. At Schneider Electric, I worked with cross-functional and international teams, contributing to their success by coordinating efforts and fostering effective communication. At hotels, I worked with an international community, which trained me to be sensitive and respectful toward other cultures. I am a graduate of Singapore Management University, where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a major in operations and a second major in sustainability. My educational journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in business management and a deep understanding of sustainable practices in the field.

During my time at Singapore Management University, I had the privilege of taking on the role of Programmes Director for SMU International Connections Orientation Camp. In this position, I successfully planned and coordinated activities for incoming freshmen, fostering friendships among participants. Working closely with other departments, I developed strong organizational and leadership skills that have been instrumental in my academic and professional endeavors.

One of the highlights of my educational experiences was participating in a study exchange program in Canada, where I had the opportunity to delve into sustainable operations. As part of a team, we analyzed the sustainability of the public bus transport system in Vancouver. This project allowed me to understand the importance of considering the entire life cycle of vehicles and the need for collective solutions to reduce overall sustainability impacts. It further solidified my passion for green supply chain practices.
