Teaching PE was a core role I played in the 16 years I had been with the Ministry of Education. I was also the Volleyball CCA Teacher IC for at least 10 years. Above and beyond teaching, I had actively mentored junior staff members, as well as initiated and led numerous improvement projects for the school. One such improvement projects is the WorkPlace & WorkChat initiative where I led a team of 6 staff in implementing a school-wide tool and platform to improve communication amongst staff and non-teaching staff, keeping staff up to date at their fingertips, and improve staff vibrancy by sharing non-work matters. I am also a proactive and tactful team player, adept at interacting with people from all levels, having to work with senior leadership in schools, junior staff under my charge, students, their parents, suppliers, and vendors.
