Experience
I am L2 ( EL) LON certified, DPEL, Bachelor of Home Science ( Studied modules in Early Childhood Education) and Master of Education specialising in Curriculum and Teaching, with 16 years of teaching experience as an Early Childhood educator and a couple of years as a Principal. I'm recently working as a Deputy Manager cum Supervisor, managing KCare at Temasek Primary under Singapore Edusmart Company. I have good experience opening new preschools, setting up curricula and hiring manpower based on the requirement. I'm able to manage budgets and meet the goals that the company requires. I have good curricula planning skills. Recently, at MOE Kindergarten open house event, I planned and managed some engaging activities for the children, showcasing our programme and giving parents a deeper understanding of our curricula and programmes. I have experience in conducting teacher training programmes and sharing various methodologies and experiences with teachers too.
Education
I have good knowledge of the different curricula. I have planned and crafted different curriculums like; integrated curricula combining NEL Framework with a Montessori-based learning approach, child-centred curriculum, Inquiry-based curricula etc. I have always believed in providing the best services and building up good communication with parents as well as liaising with ECDA upbringing many new programmes developing every child holistically under my care. I have a good network with different vendors bringing up after-school programmes, increasing school running standards.
I have experienced managing centre operational duties like schedule management, rostering duties and schedules, managing new enquiries and enrolments, staff management, petty cash management, buying food and stationery items, arranging meetings virtually or face to face, drafting meeting minute records, SOPs, monthly newsletters and emails, monthly reports, hiring staffs, liaising with various suppliers for stationery and other means, managing working staffs and conflicts, digital marketing, managing accounts of daily transactions, managing phone calls and front desk enquiries, planning out curriculum and objectives, developing a good relationship with customers that is with parents, managing and crafting programmes, events, curricula and tools, managing the safety of the centre too.
