Muhammad Nur Afiq Bin Abdemanaf

Hello, my name is Muhammad Nur Afiq Bin Abdemanaf. I am a systems engineering graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Systems at the Singapore Institute of Technology. I will be graduating in October 2023 and am available for employment starting in June 2023.

Prior to my studies, I completed a Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic. During my studies and work experiences, I have developed a strong skillset in both hard and soft skills.

I have gained hands-on experience in data analysis and dashboard creation during my internship at SBS Transit, where I developed dashboards to assist in managing power efficiency and train preventive maintenance data. Additionally, during my time at Natsai Vitalhealth, I created an SOP for biomedical equipment maintenance, supervised and managed the Malaysia servicing department, and even generated sales contracts for equipment sales to Singapore hospitals.

In my school projects, I have implemented various embedded programming techniques using STM32 boards, such as motor pulse width modulation, sonar detection, and ultra-wideband technology. These projects have allowed me to gain intermediate knowledge in programming languages like C/C++ and SPL, and have taught me valuable skills in time-management, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and responsibility.

Overall, I am a driven and hardworking individual who is eager to apply my skills and experiences to make meaningful contributions to the industry. 

I'm Muhammad Nur Afiq Bin Abdemanaf, a data analyst who has completed an internship at SBS Transit. During my internship, I developed a dashboard that visualizes power consumption in DTL stations, which is currently used to find trends to manage power efficiency in stations and leads to higher cost-saving. Additionally, I initiated a dashboard that charts the train preventive maintenance (PM) data of SBS trains from timed-based PM to mileage-based PM. This dashboard is currently used to visualize PM data, which assists in manpower scheduling and higher cost-savings in the maintenance department.

Prior to my internship, I worked as a service engineer at NATSAI VITALHEALTH. During my tenure, I developed an SOP using Excel for maintaining and troubleshooting biomedical equipment by ISO standards. The created SOP is currently used in Singapore and Malaysia, which led to an overall increase in efficiency in servicing departments. I also supervised and managed Malaysia's servicing department in biomedical equipment maintenance, which led to an overall increase in competency. Furthermore, I created sales contracts to Singapore hospitals for equipment sales, which led to a 50% increase in sales in the company.

I also completed an internship at Meritor Systems, where I generated a template using Excel to assist in conducting logistics checks, contributing to an overall increase in logistics management.

I have completed Bachelor of Engineering in Systems Engineering (Electromechanical Systems) at Singapore Institute of Technology, and currently waiting for the graduation ceremony in October 2023. I also hold a Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) from Singapore Polytechnic, where I achieved a GPA of 3.02/4 and received a CCA Award: Gold with Honors. My education has equipped me with relevant knowledge and skills in systems engineering and electromechanical systems, as well as a strong foundation in electrical and electronic engineering.
