About Muslim Dokho:
As a passionate advocate of maximizing the public interest, I am interested in public policy, capacity building programs, and improving local governance. Recently, I was a special advisor to Landmark Public Affairs, a consulting firm. In addition, I have worked part-time as a translator for two research projects at the School of Public Policy and School of Public Health, NUS. In my previous experiences, he worked with government agencies, civil society organizations, state-owned enterprises, and businesses in Thailand and ASEAN, where I gained extensive experience managing workshops and conferences, conducting research, and developing capacity-building initiatives.
Experience
In September 2022, I worked part-time as a translator for two research projects at the School of Public Policy and School of Public Health at NUS; I was also a special advisor at Landmark Public Affairs in October. My tenure as a researcher at the Institute of Research and Development for Public Enterprises (IRDP) in Thailand lasted from 2017 to 2021. Monitoring and evaluating projects and developing training programs for state-owned enterprises, government agencies, and the private sector are some of my responsibilities at IRDP.
From 2017 to 2019, I served as the Assistant to the Representative of Thailand to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR). Over the years, I have managed funds, prepared reports, coordinated, monitored, and evaluated human rights projects in the ASEAN region. These include projects on disability rights, access to justice, and business and human rights.
Education
Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Public Policy (MPP) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore (NUS), and will graduate in April 2023. I received my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts (2014) and first Master's degree in International Relations (2020) in Thailand.
