Aditya Birla Group | May 2022 - July 2022

- Wrote a report outlining ESG investment opportunities primarily in India, drawing global connections 

- The report conducted in depth research on ESG in the fixed income and capital markets 

- Looked at the emergence of the ESG market in India and how the new space has developed and thrived in the last few years 

- Made future projections for the ESG space globally, citing auditing and quality control as being the major issues in the industry 

- Worked closely with the investment team on the evaluative project, heavily using resources like the Bloomberg terminal and Aditya Birla resources to conduct research

Jefferies | Jun 2021 - Aug 2021

- Collected and analysed data on general employment in India which was used in official Jefferies research reports 

- Organised employment data by a number of different categories such as age, gender, age, rural vs urban, gender and more using a variety of different Excel functions and tools 

- Interpreted trends and anomalies in data to answer a range of different research questions being investigated by the research team

- Research India’s PLI (product-linked incentives) scheme put in place in the midst of the US/ China trade war to better understand the manufacturing shift from China to other places 

- Analysed the major growth in the manufacturing industry in India and conducted research on its implications 

- Collated data on fiscal accounts for individual states in India to analyse FDI for supervisors, heavily reliant on Excel 

- Handled government data on fiscal accounts at the state, region and global level, once again collating and interpreting data at all levels to answer research questions being investigated by the research team
