A midwife in her work is, if possible, something more than a professional who performs her own tasks in care and attention to women and their families. The woman is the protagonist of her own life and therefore of her health. The midwife must reconcile her professionalism with respect for her decisions by providing truthful information, based on current evidence and above all practical in her daily life, helping to enhance her autonomy. I consider that I have adequate skills for the exercise of midwifery and especially I feel very motivated in my day to day. Since I started my work in the maternity ward, every day is a new world full of challenges and positive possibilities that I am extremely satisfied with every day. For this reason, and for all that it entails, I would love to contribute a grain of sand in the breastfeeding adventure, I think it would be a great opportunity to be able to move up a step in the experience they offer, with the aim of being part of the team of professionals specialized in breastfeeding. I am flexible, empathetic, I have initiative to face new changes or try to change circumstances to always improve or adapt. I know how to work as a team, I receive I am grateful for the advice and learning they offer me and I firmly believe that unity is strength. I love my work. I would say that it is totally vocational and over the years I have gone discovering and learning things not only on a professional level but I feel like I have gained much more on a personal level, and it's all thanks to all the people I've dealt with. For me is a mutual gratification, constant and enriching in every way every day.
