I once beat a grade 2 to be crowned my school's checkers champion while I was in kindergarten. Why is this relevant? It's not, but it's kewl (here's me adapting to the language of GenZs) and shows off my patience, problem-solving skills, and ability to remain calm in the face of adversity. But I play chess now, so imagine the skills I have picked up from that.
