Nita Pawar

I am Ms. Nita Murlidhar Pawar from India. Currently, I have experience in the procurement division as ‘Senior Buyer’ at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Saudi Arabia from April 2017 to July 2023. I am a Master in Computer Science graduated from Modern College under University of Pune, Maharashtra, India in 2007. I have four year’s immense experience in procurement as a senior buyer. I have been experienced in purchasing a variety of goods and services for both campuses from local and international sources in line with the University By-Laws. Also, I am involved in ordering materials procured range from: computers (hardware, software, consumables, accessories), audio-video equipment, office equipment, office and classroom furniture, lab equipment, printing materials, stationery, textbooks, periodicals, vehicles, building materials and renovation services, rental of equipment/vehicles and maintaining the University Insurance Policies (Public Liability, Fire, Burglary, and Vehicular), for both campuses. My job is well included interprets purchase requests, investigates supply sources and negotiates best terms and conditions in line with user specifications. Liaises with vendors regarding discrepancies and damage reports to ensure correct replacement of materials in accordance with order specifications. Other functions such as issue amendments in case of increase/decrease of quantities and cancellation of orders and always ensures accuracy of data, vendor invoices routed for payment approval. Also, I am carrying out the conversion with answers to vendor and client queries as required. Besides this, I have 3.0 years’ experience in Oracle, Postgres SQL, PlSQL, MS-Access, SQL server in Indian colleges. I am also well versed in programming languages C/C++, . Details of my qualification and teaching experience are enclosed in CV. Starting from my education, I took immense interest in many extracurricular activities apart from my regular studies. Activities gave raise to my team building, leadership, and decisive attitude. I have been proving my dedication and sincerity throughout a career.
