Nura Afira

Hello. I’m Nura Afira. I’m 29 years old currently. I have working experience in clinic setting. I have worked at a dental clinic for 7 years. As a dental assistant cum receptionist. Currently, i’m working as a freelance caregiver under Homage.   

I worked at Embrace Dental Surgery from 2013-2019. As a dental assistant, I assist the dentist during treatments. Sterilising of the dental instruments and cleaning of the cleaning is done by me too. I do mould casting and retainers for patients too.  At times,I handle the reception area. Answer queries and booking of appointments for new and existing patients. Handling payments and also dispense medicines to patients.  

Currently, I’m working as a freelance caregiver for  Homage. I have worked as a caregiver for 3 months now. Whenever there’s an assignment during my availability, I will go for it. There are times I escort care recipients for their medical appointments. But most of the time, I go to care recipients’ homes and assist them in taking care of their personal hygiene and also housekeeping. Due to this job, I have certificate for CPR-AED.
