I am a motivated and hardworking individual who is driven by an unwavering desire to help and improve society. I see myself as a realist and pragmatist, but this does not stop me from dreaming big. I hope to seek out more opportunities to grow myself and help others

 As someone who is deeply passionate about the environment, I am starting my internship as an Utilities Excellence in Abbott Manufacturing, where I could deepen my knowledge in energy optimization using big data approach and modeling method, to reduce greenhouse gas release and optimize cost savings in plants. 

I am technical and hands-on, and an advocate for agile methods and collaboration between team players. During my academic career, I had the privilege of working for Ministry of Manpower on a labour force survey project, where I clinched the Top 5 performer award within 2 months. Adapting to a fast-paced working environment taught me valuable skills of project management and the need for creative ways of improvement to remain efficient.

When faced with a dead-end road, we find a detour. I do enjoy challenges, as I believe challenges create strength, character, and perseverance. During my free time, I enjoy volunteering and facilitating in ad-hoc community events as it exposes me to various circumstances – expected and unexpected, in which could further hone my leadership skills.

I am a penultimate year Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University, with a second major in Food Science and Technology.
