Piyush Nagar

Piyush Nagar is the Head of Customer Marketing and Commercial Strategy for South East Asia and Pakistan (SEA&P) with Bayer. Experienced business leader with Board of Directors/Governance experience.

In the current role, Piyush is responsible for delivering best experience to our customers and growing the business through the megabrands and new products portfolio. Along with driving growth through best customer experience, Piyush leads execution of the business strategies, design of Go-to-Market models and adoption of new digital business models. He successfully spearheaded the integration between Bayer and Monsanto across all SEA&P countries. 

During his 9 years with Monsanto, Piyush led the Customer Care function across Asia Africa and drove multiple digital transformation initiatives. He also led end-to-end Product Supply function for India and delivered significant results in improving organizational culture and business results. Prior to this, he led the Crop Protection and Cotton Traits business as Category Lead for these business units. 

Piyush was part of the prestigious Tata Administrative Service (TAS) program in Tata Group where he managed a portfolio of companies across a range of businesses in Tata Industries Ltd and drove multiple branding and sales initiatives in Tata Steel Ltd. 

Piyush's expertise includes driving strategic transformation, marketing/product management, new business models, post-merger integration, channel management and customer care.

Piyush is based in Singapore and received his B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay and his MBA from IIM Calcutta. He has served as Director on the Boards of Monsanto India Limited and Tata Ficosa Automotive Systems Ltd.
