Poh Jing Wen

I have been with SNEC for 4+ years now and I have always been a consistent performer in my job, I am very responsible when it comes to my time, tasks and deadlines. I have had to work with many people from different parts of the healthcare sector so I collaborate well with others and have taken up more leadership responsibility in my position where I work on training and education for new hires and beyond that I am always an advocate for my subordinates and I am open to all feedbacks to understand flaws within systems and work towards resolving them and creating a more efficient model to benefit everyone within the system. 

I have been working as a Senior Ophthalmic Investigation Technologist with Singapore National Eye Centre for more than 4 years now and during which time I have had many opportunities working with Zeiss products ranging from HVF machines to IOL Master to the Visumax 500 and many more on a day to day basis. I have been certified to operate these machines competently and have a good amount of understanding on the use and troubleshooting of the machines. I have had some training directly under Zeiss vendors and have a good working relationship with vendors, colleagues and Drs alike. I have training in the refractive surgery theatre and am familiar with how the workflow of refractive surgery is and the vendors role in providing support. I am very interested in an opportunity to join Zeiss who is a company that stays at the forefront of innovation and be a part of the team that helps bring more Zeiss technology to all parts of the region. I have a Biomedical Science Degree from La Trobe University and have graduated top student in the SNEC/IJCAHPO collaborated Ophthalmic Technician course and certification from Zeiss for training in the Visumax Basic, Flap and Smile.
