About Ramesh Kolluru:

I am a mechanical engineer and researcher with a diverse educational background and expertise in algorithm development, high-speed compressible flows, and optimization. I obtained a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kakatiya University and went on to complete my master's degree in the Marine Engineering Department at Andhra University. Following his master's degree, Ramesh pursued a Ph.D. in the Aerospace Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Science.

After completing my doctoral studies, I worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Aerospace Engineering from 2019 to 2022. During this time, I focused on the development of hybrid optimizers for Dassault Aviation in France. This work involved utilizing both gradient-based algorithms and non-gradient-based algorithms such as Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm algorithm, and Ant Colony Optimization.

From 2011 to 2019, I served as an assistant professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore. During my tenure, I taught mechanical engineering courses and conducted research related to his interests in algorithm development, high-speed compressible flows, and optimization.

I am currently associated with CAMBRIDGE CARES (Center for Advanced Research and Education Singapore) working on numerically investigating turbulent flows associated with the dispersion and mixing of pollutants in the atmosphere caused by marine traffic around Singapore. My primary objective at CARES is to develop computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models for the mixing processes in the development of reacting flows, particularly focusing on the transformation of pollutants.

Overall, I have a decent academic background and research experience in the field of mechanical engineering, with a particular emphasis on algorithm development, high-speed compressible flows, and optimization
