A driven and motivated data and sales enthusiast equipped with strong leadership and client management skills. I am also an ex-Googler experienced in the Cloud, CPG, YouTube and Agency sectors of SouthEast Asian markets including Singapore and Vietnam as well as the financial services industry, currently representing AIA as an investment consultant. With the privilege of being raised and educated in different cultures across continents as well as understanding and managing various novel sectors in my professional experience, I have developed an aptitude to lead and thrive in ambiguous and challenging environments and am seeking to leverage my myriad of skills for my next role.
Experience
I am an Applied Mathematics graduate from NUS with strong analytical and sales skills. A robust problem solving mindset is hard wired into any mathematician and I am no exception. I am currently representing AIA as a financial consultant responsible for business development and identifying sales opportunities and developing relationships with target market segments while providing financial planning strategies based on clients’ risk tolerance, wealth accumulation objectives.
For my previous contract role at Google as a Large Customer Sales Account Manager, I was responsible for spearheading program management for one of YouTube’s largest sponsorship programs in Asia. I was a Sub Pillar Lead of the TET 2022 (Vietnam) Sponsorship Activation Process which had a total spend commitment of >$5 million for key CPG brands like Pepsi, Unilever, Castrol, etc in the Vietnam Market, in charge of supervising the Sales teams as well as heading all Contracting/Legal matters including managing YouTube Partner/Vendor contracts as well as Advertiser contracts. In addition, I also have experience working with the agency sector in Vietnam, having assisted with client concerns and executing agency deals.
I have also extensively been involved in Sales Performance Research for the Cloud APAC at Google, having created and launched a Deal Navigation Site highlighting insights and gaps in understanding of various business processes for experienced field sales representatives and customer engineering teams comprising of about 2000+ employees, which was also adopted by other sales enablement teams and used to educate new Googlers, thereby increasing operational efficiency and resulting in more time for sellers to foster and grow a sustainable network of clients.
