As a determined second-year psychology and english literature student at the National University of Singapore, I am committed to learning more through gaining relevant work and research experience in the field of psychology. 

EXPERIENCE 

Psychology Intern — SACAC Counselling (December 2023 - Present)

• Maintaining smooth clinic operations through providing efficient administrative support and fostering positive client interactions 

NUS Project IMH Committee — Institute of Mental Health (August 2023 - Present)

• Engaging in weekly activities to foster a supportive ward environment and aid patients' recovery journeys, alongside organising volunteer management by leading programme and outreach planning. 

‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels Literature Tutor — (September 2021 - 2023)

• Developed lesson plans, facilitated weekly consultations, and assisted students in improving their writing and critical thinking skills. 'A' Level students minimally saw a two-grade jump in performance. 

KidsRead Volunteer — National Library Board (April 2022 - July 2022)

• Hosted weekly sessions to read to children (aged 4 to 8) from less privileged backgrounds, and helped spark a love for literacy and reading.
