About Ruby Gomez:

I am a retired IT professional having worked in IBM and SAP.  I have always loved writing.  I have just completed a creative writing course with Coursera, with one of its universities in the USA.  I have also done lots of technical documentation and manuals apart from short stories.  I love writing and hope to be engaged in your projects.

Experience

  • Over 15 years of project management experience focusing on implementation (SDLC), transition, and support processes and methodologies.
  • Led project teams on various large-scale ERP systems namely SAP and SCALA projects implementing standard and customized modules for clients in healthcare, telecommunications, oil and gas, transportation, manufacturing, service management, finance and logistics, education, trading, and other industries in the region. Able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Exposure to a variety of working cultures, having been based in and worked with clients across multiple geographical locations, namely Australia, Brunei, China, Germany, Indonesia, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and the USA.
  • Managed teams of up to 150 staff, including offshore resources, augmented client personnel, and third-party vendors
