Saloni Bajaj Singh

A professional with 30+ years of extensive experience in emerging markets as well as developed economies.  Carries rich experience with a diverse portfolio across industries and geographies and a unique blend of working with people, processes & systems across a variety of organization sizes.

I am equipped with a Masters in Finance and launched my career in Financial Services in India in 1990. Worked in corporate finance & banking in the initial years working across functions like credit, operations and client management.

Ventured into personal finance and worked across branch management, operations, business development, credit, collections and special projects. Engaged with the local startup of a global player enriched me with learning across functions and experience of working in multiple matrix environment.

Subsequently accepted the opportunity to head the operations of a startup company to manage the pan India operations with heavy focus on payments & collections and seamless processing. In a startup organization and in the less developed electronic banking scenario, this role enabled me to understand the grass root level and its challenges for small transactions.

Thereafter I accompanied my husband and moved to Singapore in 1999.

Subsequently after time off for first child joined DBS Bank in the six-sigma, quality and projects space. This enhanced & deepened my knowledge of banking products and processes across wholesale & retail banking. 

After deliberation, joined the executive search as my new field at a point where I had worked in banking and financial services for 15+ years, as that provided me the platform to apply my banking knowledge and people skills coupled with the rare opportunity to learn with every client & each mandate. 

From 2007 had been part of the executive search industry for almost 7 years.

I took a sabbatical for a year from April 2014 to Mar 2015 and subsequently set up a consulting firm - Progressive Consulting Pte Ltd  

In my company I engage in training & tutoring activities & university advising for medical aspirants. Plus investing in collectible whisky’s and advising small businesses.
