Shu Hui Lin

I am currently a penultimate-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with a Minor in Digital Content Marketing at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Throughout my university journey, I have developed an interest in learning how effective marketing strategies can shape a brand's identity and success. My previous roles in start-ups have provided me with valuable insights into growing brand presence and executing successful marketing campaigns. My current venture into content creation on Tiktok has also developed my passion for the F&B industry in Singapore. I believe that my experiences have equipped me with the mindset needed to grow as a well-rounded marketer in your team.

I’ve been taking up in marketing roles for almost 5 years now. I have had the opportunity to work in various industries and learn how to combine creative-thinking skills with a more analytical and consumer-oriented mindset to create successful marketing ideas.

My recent internship at an early-stage startup has equipped me with marketing experience to be heavily involved in conceptualising and executing social media marketing content to help boost social media presence. During which, I identified opportunities by initiating innovative content ideas. By focusing on testing content marketing strategies, targeted hashtags and time-of-day posting, I managed to achieve a 34% increase in Instagram engagement rate within three months during my internship there.
