I have  been  working  in  construction  firm  as  quantity  surveyor  for  12  years,  with  the 
experience of managing both private and public funded projects. I am self disciplined and 
self-motivated to complete project within a given timeline which is a nature in my current 
working scope. Being a team player, i can perform the task independently and lead the 
team to accomplish the project to meet stakeholders’ expectations.

1.  Wee Hur Construction Pte Ltd 
Position    :  Executive Quantity Surveyor (Tender Department) 
Working Period  :  July 2017 – Present 

Responsibility: 
o  Handle end-to-end tender processes. 
o  Understand tender drawings and specifications 
o  Measurement and quantities taking off for structural and architectural trade 
o  Source contractors and suppliers for quotations 
o  Evaluate quotations received and prepare comparison for costing analysis 
o  Prepare Bill of Quantities and compute costing for tenders 
o  Prepare the necessary documents for tender submission
 

2.  Strategic Construction Pte Ltd 
Position    :  Quantity Surveyor cum Purchaser 
Working Period  :  May 2014 – March 2017 

Responsibility: 
  
Quantity Surveyor 
o  Involve in pre and post tender stage  
o  Produce quantity measurement  
o  Prepare tender submission documents 
o  Review on work specifications and costing 
o  Sourcing contractors and suppliers for quotations 
o  Evaluate contractors/sub-contractors and recommend awards for contracts 
o  Attend progress meeting 
o  Cost control on on-going project 
o  Prepare for work order, sub-contract 
o  Handle monthly payment certificates & progress claims 
o  Prepare variation orders 
o  Arrange machinery and its maintenance 
o  Optimize asset usage by coordinating with project manager/leader for asset 
sharing among different project sites
 

3.  Pocon Construction Sdn Bhd 
Position    :  Quantity Surveyor Executive  
Working Period  :  June 2010 – April 2014 

Responsibility: 

o  Measure and calculate quantity of construction materials   
o  Sourcing raw materials and collect quotation from suppliers/sub-contractors 
o  Handle procurement for raw material and office utensils 
o  Follow up with site supervisor for raw material consumption and its wastage 
o  Ensure goods received and arrange for goods return if needed 
o  Control and monitor budgeted expenses and actual expenses 
o  Preparation and valuation of progress and final payment in connection with any 
contract or sub-contract  
o  Prepare monthly progress report for site meeting 
o  Handle payroll (foreign workers) and subcontractor claims
