Hello! I am a senior laboratory executive and senior research officer with experience in animal disease surveillance, mosquito population monitoring, and laboratory support. At Animal and Veterinary Service, NParks, I performed various tests for disease surveillance in Singapore, such as immunofluorescence antibody tests, PCR, and classical parasitology testing. I was also responsible for maintaining the post-mortem equipment and preparing for compliance audits. Later, as a senior research officer at Environmental Health Institute, National Environment Agency, I focused on mosquito detection, validation of new primers for PCR screening, and data analysis using Excel data models and power query. I have also worked as a laboratory officer (scientific support) at the Institute of Medical Biology, A*STAR, where I managed and maintained amphibian colonies and provided laboratory support for smooth operations.

Educational Qualifications:

• Diploma in Biotechnology from Republic Polytechnic
• Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from La Trobe University
• Master of Science in Life Science (Environmental Biology) from Nanyang technological University
