Soh Wei Xiang

With a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from National University of Singapore and a major in robotics, I am currently looking for a career in either the field of robotics or mechanical engineering design. I consider myself to be a very motivated, future-focused, adaptable,
and open-minded person. I also strive to be as flexible as I can when working with coworkers
or my colleagues. I like spending time reading up on the subjects that I am actually interested in, such as artificial intelligence and robotics to keep myself updated with the latest trends, as well as catching up with engineering that I found in Google Feed.

I started my career in July 2021 as a laboratory intern on campus. During my
internship, I had the chance to take part in design projects where I learned how to deal with
simulations, particularly using SolidWorks, to design an item by analyzing the design and
checking for any geometrical tolerances before finalizing the product that was to be sent for 3D
printing. I then began working in another part-time internship, to expand my professional
experience in robotics and laser-related, as well as mechanical engineering fields. Overall, I
believe that my college and internship experiences will prepare me for working on real-world
problems and will undoubtedly offer value to the projects based on the skill sets that I gain.

I graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a major in robotics.
