SOLVEIG MONVOISIN

A passionate and dedicated language learner and teacher, I am a firm believer in the importance of language learning to foster intercultural understanding in our increasingly multicultural societies. I love to share this passion for languages and cultures with my students. I bring eight years of international professional experience across three continents, including two years of hands-on teaching. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered in speaking the language and motivated to learn about the culture.  

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

October 2022 – July 2023, French Language Teacher, French Pass - UWCSEA East Campus, Singapore

• Taught French as a mother tongue to Gr9 and Gr10 students at UWCSEA, East Campus
• Taught French as a Foreign Language to adults and teenage students (A1 to B1 levels) 
• Conducted French Exam Preparation classes (IGCSE, IB, etc…)

• Led the team managing GLG’s Benelux Private Equity Clients
• Managed and grew client portfolio of private equity investors
• Leveraged and grew GLG’s network of C-level professionals. Generated leads, cold called, pitched GLG's value proposition, and negotiated contracts with hundreds of C-level professionals from multiple industries daily.

• Managed Irish Aid funded project to support Zambian schools’ in introducing IT in education. 
• Deputized for the Country Director, and managed NGO’s daily operations and funding applications, recruited, trained and coached teams.

• Managed and reported about cooperation projects and events in the areas of education, Human Rights, culture. 
• Developed new partnerships and co-funded projects with civil society, government, international, and private sector partners.
